How To Remove A Faeces Stain From Upholstery:

Step 1:  Scrape up as much faeces or diarrhea as possible from the upholstery without spreading the substance any further.
If it is a diarrhea stain go to step 2 if a faeces stain go to step 4.
Step 2:  Place an absorbent, bicarbonate/baking soda, onto the stains, and let it soak in for up to 15-20 minutes.
Step 3:  Scrape or vacuum up the bicarbonate/baking soda, which should have absorbed some of or all the liquid in the diarrhea.
Advisory Hint: Dependent on the amount of diarrhea on the upholstery you may need to repeat the above step to completely remove the diarrhea stain until no more liquid is absorbed by the bicarbonate/baking soda.
Step 4:  Mix a solution of two cups water, one tablespoon washing up liquid, and one tablespoon of white vinegar.
Step 5:  Using this solution, blot the stain from the faeces or diarrhea with a clean cloth.
Step 6:  Next, blot at the stain until the liquid is absorbed.
Step 7:  Repeat steps 5-6 until the faeces stains or diarrhea stains are removed from the upholstery.
Step 8:  Now that the stain is removed, use cold water and a clean cloth and sponge the area to remove the cleaning solution, and then blot dry.
Helpful Hint: Be sure to get the upholstery only as wet as is necessary to remove the stain.
Step 9:  Apply some hydrogen peroxide to the stained area with an eyedropper.
Before using either the hydrogen peroxide  (6% solution), test it in an inconspicuous area to make sure it does not harm your upholstery.
